Version 8.5.2 of Traveller added support for the iPhone 4 and the iPad, with monitoring and control of security settings and device passwords for all Apple iOS devices, according to IBM's website. Lotus Notes Traveler is already compatible with Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The Android-compatible version of Lotus Notes Traveler is version 8.5.2.1. But the operator has indicated it will have a solution available in early next year, according to Brill. There is however one problem: It can't be installed on Android-based devices from AT&T, due to the fact that AT&T only allows applications to be installed from the Android Marketplace. The new client gives access to e-mail, calendar and contacts on any Android version 2.x-based smartphone or tablet, Brill wrote.
